Congratulations to Tim Horrell, the new champion in the Pro-Am class of the GT4 Winter Series 2025! JS Communications & Events is once again providing PR and social media support for the US American this season. The paraplegic racing driver races a specially adapted Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport with a throttle ring and brake lever attached to the steering wheel.

Tim Horrell used his participation in the GT4 Winter Series to prepare for his first season in the Porsche Sports Cup and has an impressive track record. During the five race weekends in Portugal and Spain, he started from pole position four times in the Pro-Am, won a total of five races and stood on the podium a further three times.

In the Pro-Am championship, he won by 24 points ahead of the runner-up and finished in a good tenth place in the overall standings. An incredibly strong performance!

(20.12.2024) Just before Christmas, Julia from JS Communications & Events travelled to Paris to attend the SRO Awards 2024. The gala event traditionally reviews the season in the various SRO racing series worldwide and presents the championship trophies to the successful drivers and teams. 

Julia received the European championship trophy for W&S Motorsport, which the team won in the GT4 European Series in the team and driver standings of the Pro-Am classification. The evening was a wonderful end to a very successful season and the perfect setting for a season closing event.

(07.12.2024) 2024 was the most successful season to date for Julia from JS Communications & Events. As Team Manager and PR & Social Media Manager at W&S Motorsport, she was able to celebrate 6 championships in GT4 racing. The team has already won four titles in the ADAC GT4 Germany in the overall drivers‘ and teams’ standings and in the Junior and Trophy championships alone. No other team has achieved this before in the history of the fiercely contested GT4 racing series! 

To round off an extremely successful season, the racing team also won the European championship title in the Pro-Am class for drivers and teams in the GT4 European Series 2024.

In the 2024 season, W&S Motorsport won a total of 12 championship titles and finished runner-up 5 times. An incredible track record that is hard to beat!

(08.09.2024) Since this season, JS Communications & Events has been providing PR and social media support for racing driver Tim Horrell. The US American has been paralysed from the waist down since the age of 21 and races in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport specially adapted for him. He can steer the vehicle with a throttle ring attached to the steering wheel and a brake lever.

He is contesting his second season in the GTC Race and finished on the GT4 podium for the first time at the race weekend in Spa-Francorchamps. A great and well-deserved achievement for the incredible amount of hard work Horrell puts into race preparation!

(31.12.2023) 2023 was a challenging year with a happy ending: winning the team championship in the ADAC GT4 Germany 2023. As Team Manager and PR & Social Media Manager at W&S Motorsport, Julia from JS Communications & Events was up close and personal with the successes and setbacks in the GT4 European Series and ADAC GT4 Germany. 

After several scary moments at the start of the season in Monza, where the 3 cars were totally destroyed, the team did not give up and was still able to celebrate successes. In the ADAC GT4 Germany 2023, AVIA W&S Motorsport became team champions and finished 3rd in the drivers', junior and trophy standings in the championship. In the GT4 European Series, W&S Motorsport also took two 3rd places in the Pro-Am championship for drivers and teams. 

In 11 out of 12 races, AVIA W&S Motorsport was the best Porsche team in the field. In total, the team took 4 overall victories, finished 2nd overall 3 times and 3rd overall 3 times, celebrated 8 class victories, 6 further class podium places and started from pole position 4 times.

Further highlights were the race at the Sachsenring, where W&S Motorsport started from 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and the entries of 4 Porsches at the events in Hockenheim. At the season finale, the team took grid positions 1, 3, 4 and 5, putting all 4 cars in the top 5! An impressive track record to be proud of!

(29.07.2023) The year 2023 began just as busy as 2022 ended. This season, Julia from JS Communications & Events is again working full-time for W&S Motorsport. As Team Manager and PR & Social Media Manager for the GT4 European Series and ADAC GT4 Germany, she has already completed a tight workload in the first half of the year and has also been able to celebrate a number of successes at traditional circuits such as Spa-Francorchamps and Zandvoort.

She also works as PR & Social Media Manager for the team's projects in the NLS, GTC Race and at the 24h Race at the Nürburgring and is responsible for all tasks related to communication and public relations.

The highlight of the season so far was the second round of the ADAC GT4 Germany at Zandvoort, which took place as part of the DTM supporting programme and where Julia already worked for an Audi team at the beginning of her career. Team AVIA W&S Motorsport won at Zandvoort after an impressive race from David Jahn and Jannes Fittje on Saturday and the duo also finished third overall on Sunday. Junior drivers Finn Zulauf and Daniel Gregor finished third in Race 1 to take victory and third place in the Junior standings. Max Kronberg was also on the podium twice in the Trophy classification. In total, the team took six (!) podium places on one race weekend. A thoroughly successful weekend that makes you want more!

There are more races scheduled for the second half of the season, where Julia and the team can also hope for success and stay in the race for the championship.

(30.12.2022) 2022 saw a new challenge for Julia of JS Communications & Events when she joined W&S Motorsport in the beginning of the year in a fulltime role. Her duties as PR & Team Manager were varied and very work-intensive.  

Julia has been involved in 53 races in seven racing series, celebrating eleven victories and a total of 28 podium finishes, over 700 championship points after more than 2,700 race laps completed by 30 drivers at 14 race tracks: an impressive season record!

(28.09.2021) Back from another incredible and busy weekend with FIA European Truck Racing Championship at Le Mans. For the sixth round of FIA ETRC, JS Communications & Events returned to the famous race track in France. Julia was in charge of all communications matters and Social Media channels of the Championship and was acting as trackside FIA Media Delegate of FIA ETRC.

(02.08.2021) An intense and busy 24h race in Spa has been completed by JS Communications & Events, where Julia was part of the Porsche Motorsport Media Team providing media support to the Porsche customer teams and Porsche works drivers. From a heavy crash early in the race - where luckily all drivers got away okay - to a top 5 finish that felt like a win, it was all there. The endurance classic in the Belgian Ardennes was once again like a real rollercoaster ride.

(12.07.2021) Our client Maximilian Günther celebrated his first victory of the season in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in New York City this weekend. In keeping with the motto "two in one sweep", the BMW i Andretti Motorsport driver snatched two of his opponents shortly before the end of the race and took the win without relinquishing control. Congratulations!

(07.06.2021) JS Communications & Events was back on duty at the Nordschleife. As part of the Porsche Motorsport Media Team, Julia provided media support for the Porsche customer teams and Porsche works drivers at the 49th edition of the iconic endurance race won by Manthey Porsche #911.
